Monthly Recap : April 2017

Friday, May 5, 2017

I know it's been ages since I've updated this little blog. Haha! I have tons of things to share here. So, let's start the ramblings from last month. Well, April saw a month of happiness, stupid heartbreak and a few realizations. These things were literally driving me zany. Lol. Nonetheless, it was an awesome and unforgettable month for me, at least.

During this month, I've learned that above all, do not forget your duty to love yourself. In addition, you can't love others until you love yourself. Not to be dramatic or what but these were some of the greatest life lesson I've learned so far.  Okay. I just had another stupid heartbreak. Just like anyone else, I also spent too many sleepless nights thinking of what went went wrong and whatevers. Lol. I'll get over you, I know I will, as a song goes.

Hello, summertime! Since I can't take the scorching summer sun, I decided to cut my hair very short. Literally. As far as I can remember, the last time I had this hairstyle was way back when I was in grade school. I look quite different now according to some. (But I still look like a potato, tbh. Haha!) Change image? Not really. Lol.

The song has been stuck in my head the first time I heard it.
Also, during this month some of my favorite artists just dropped their new tracks. Lorde performed a new track called Sober during a surprise pre-Coachella performance and during the music festival she performed a new track called Homemade Dynamite. How I wish I was able to see her live. On the other hand, Lady Gaga also debuted a new song called The Cure during her Coachella performace. While others say it sound like a mainstream song but to me it was an LSS-worthy song.

Chasing waves at Sabang Beach in Baler, Aurora.
Heartbreaks may take some time to heal but going to the beach is a great idea! It is one of the best therapies one can have. I just had another an Northern Luzon getaway! It was really an epic long weekend trip. Imagine going to Baler, Aurora to San Juan, La Union to San Antonio, Zambales and we spent most of our time riding the buses. The lesson? Worry about your itinerary instead of your outfits. Hahaha! I can't wait to share the misadventures we had on the next few days. So, where to next?

I kind of know that "Hello, May! Please be good to me." is getting overrated. So, I won't expect anything this month. I'll just let universe do its job. :D
